We keep cookies simple. Canine Keepsakes uses no advertising, marketing or cross-site tracking cookies. The only browser storage we use is either essential to run the shop or set when you take an action that needs it. We also use privacy-friendly website analytics that don't use cookies or track you — see below.

What we store, in plain English

• Your basket — remembers what you've added between pages.
• Your login — a secure token that keeps you signed in.
• Your checkout progress — temporary, cleared when you close the tab.
• Your region and currency — saved when you choose them.
• A referral code — saved only if you arrive through an artist-referral link and choose to continue, so the person who referred you can be credited. We don't set it silently.

Analytics we use

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see roughly how the site is performing — things like page views and load times. It's privacy-first: it sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device, doesn't build a profile of you, and doesn't track you across other websites. Because it stores nothing on your device, it doesn't require a consent banner under UK cookie rules (PECR).

What we don't use

No Google Analytics, no advertising pixels, no cross-site trackers, no marketing cookies and no fingerprinting.

Managing cookies and storage

Clear or block cookies in your browser any time (it'll empty your basket and log you out):

• Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Clear browsing data
• Safari: Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data
• Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data
• Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions → Manage and delete cookies

Future changes

If analytics or marketing cookies are introduced later, this policy will be updated before deployment, and we'll ask your permission with a clear banner that lets you accept or reject them before any non-essential cookie is set.
