Turning a photo of your dog into art is the most personal thing we do — here's how it works and what to expect.
You upload a photo, choose a style, and we create bespoke Custom Artwork to print on the Products you pick. The artwork fee is shown before you pay and is separate from the product price. The clearer your photo (sharp, well-lit, your dog visible), the better the result; if a photo won't work we'll ask for another, and time spent waiting doesn't count towards turnaround.
Before we print anything we send a digital preview, and we only print once you've approved it. Because your piece is made uniquely for you, approving the preview is the point your order becomes final — after that we can't offer a change-of-mind cancellation (a faulty or misprinted item is always put right). Your fee includes 2 rounds of reasonable revisions, and we aim to send the first preview within 3–5 working days of receiving a usable photo. Please respond within 30 days; if we don't hear from you we'll gently remind you and hold the order — we never print without your say-so. If you cancel before approving, we refund the product cost, though the artwork fee may be kept to cover work already done.
You keep ownership of the photo you upload, and grant us permission to use it only to create and fulfil your order. The finished Custom Artwork — and the underlying style and design elements — remain owned by Canine Keepsakes; you receive a personal, non-commercial licence to use it on the Products you buy. If you'd like to use the artwork commercially, contact us about a separate licence. We keep your artwork on file for 12 months so you can re-order it on other Products without paying the artwork fee again, after which it may be deleted.
Custom Artwork is an artistic interpretation of your photo, not a photographic copy — small stylistic differences are part of the charm, not faults. Questions? caninekeepsakes.admin@gmail.com
